Dr. Brian Brown Named New Assistant Superintendent of Secondary Education

 

{December 17, 2025} Arnold, MO – On Tuesday, December 16, the Board of Education approved hiring Dr. Brian Brown as the next Assistant Superintendent of Secondary Education for the Fox C-6 School District, effective July 1, 2026. Dr. Brown will replace Dr. Tammy Cardona, who recently announced her retirement. In the coming weeks and months, Dr. Brown will work closely with Dr. Cardona to ensure a smooth transition upon Dr. Cardona’s retirement. Before being approved for hire by the Board of Education, Dr. Brown underwent a rigorous interview process, including a panel interview with various district stakeholders and a final interview with Dr. Fregeau and the administrative cabinet.

Dr. Brown currently serves as the building principal of Troy Buchanan High School, where he has been since 2019. Before that role, Dr. Brown was the building principal at Knox County R-1 High School for five years. Additionally, Dr. Brown has served on the Early College Advisory Board with the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, as well as the Missouri School Improvement Program Advisory Committee.

I look forward to partnering with students, staff, and families to carry out the mission and vision of the Fox C-6 School District.”

Dr. Brown holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Truman State University, as well as an M.A. in Secondary Education, an Education Specialist degree, and his Doctorate in Education Leadership from William Woods University.
